Breaking News: Guatemala changed the rep. to Miss Universe

According to the pageant website Missosology, the original Miss Guatemala Universo winner, Alejandra Barillas, broke her left foot a few days ago and will not compete at Miss Universe 2010. The organizer decided to send Miss Guatemala International 2010, Jessica Scheel to represent Guatemala in Miss Universe 2010 instead. While Alejandra will go to Miss International later this year.

Jessica Scheel, 21, 172cm, was the original Miss Guatemala International winner, and replaced Alejandra to compete in Miss Universe 2010. She also competed in Miss Earth 2007 but unplaced.

Miss Guatemala 2009

Miss Guatemala 2009 was crowned at Grand Tikal Futura Hotel on 25th May 2009.
18 beautiful young ladies from each province of Guatemala were vying for the national title of Miss Guatemala this year.

Lourdes Figueroa, 21, 178cm, representing Ciudad Capital, a tall, beautiful model and student was crowned Miss Guatemala 2009, she will represent her beautiful greenland country - Guatemala in the Miss Universe 2009.


Lourdes is very stunning and beautiful, here are some of her pics. She reminds me of Ly Jonaitis (Miss Venezuela 2006). I think she's the best Miss Guatemela Universo since 2000s. She was the best Central American delegate for Miss Universe 2009 so far.
