The representative of Kharkov, Khrystyna Oparina has won the title Miss Earth Ukrraine 2011 on last 18th May. Khrystyna Oparina will represent Ukraine in Miss Earth 2011 at Manila, Philippines on 3rd December. It was originally scheduled to be held at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani, and Bangkok, Thailand. However the pageant organizers decided to move the pageant back to the Philippines due to the Massive flooding in Thailand.

When asked Khrystyna Oparina, what environmental project will you create to promote the protection of Mother Earth and why, She replied, "I am a representative of the fund, "Queen for ecology!" that was created after my coronation. We are going to hold a range of activities and charity events for planting on the forest park in central Kiev. The fund is planning to plant 24 trees and holding a charity dinner to raise money for further distribution for planting of greenery. I believe that my statements in the media and advertising campaigns will help in attracting attention for the fund raising and encourage people's participation in it because it involves
people from different classes and income strata."

When asked Dora Szabo, what environmental project will you create to promote the protection of Mother Earth and why, she replied, "I help the forestry professionals to get closer to children, and improve their environmental education. This means, that I go to field works mainly nearby my beautiful hometown, I guide children groups in forest on their forestry school education. Beside this, I take part in different events of the Association, where messages can be delivered to the society and to the public. I consider that the adequate information is essential to understand the importance of nature protection. That's how I promote the protection of Mother Earth. Because the new generation is the Future, and they will make and save our work later. So they have to know everything about hour Earth.

When asked what is your environmental advocacy, Dora Szabo replied, "I am a member of the Hungarian Forestry Association which was founded in 1866. I participate in the work of the Forestry School Division and Public Relations Division."
